It is with great joy that I am pleased to share the news that Oberweis Dairy is emerging from Chapter 11 reorganization with renewed strength and an eye toward steady, strategic growth. On June 17, 2024, we consummated a sale of the business, in its entirety, to the Hoffmann Family of Companies, including Osprey Capital.

The Hoffmann family has a tradition of investing in multi-generational, family-owned businesses. Their interest in investing in the dairy business traces back to founder David Hoffmann's childhood, where he helped his father, a milkman, make deliveries before school. Milk delivery experience runs through the management team as well. I began my career at Oberweis as a milkman and use that experience every day in my role as President.

Hoffmann Family of Company's decision to acquire Oberweis was driven by our rich history dating back to 1927, strong brand reputation, and alignment with family values. Our exceptional products and commitment to service have solidified our position as a household name, and the Hoffmann family is committed to continuing that tradition.

Whether you enjoy our products in-store or through home delivery, the products and service you love from Oberweis will not only continue but be enhanced. Plans are already underway to improve production capabilities and streamline operations in our manufacturing facilities. Immediate improvements are expected in some of our locations, as well as an expanded product selection.

In the coming weeks and months, we plan to announce new locations in Chicagoland and other key markets. Rest assured, there are no plans to close existing locations or make substantial cuts to the business. The Oberweis Dairy brand name and our beloved recipes will remain the same.

The entire Oberweis team is thrilled to embark on this journey with the support of Hoffmann Family of Companies. From our manufacturing and distribution centers to our corporate offices and retail stores, the Oberweis team will continue the company legacy of super-premium quality and convenience.
