Position Description

The Accounts Payable Manager evaluates and records accounts payable and related transactions to ensure accuracy, maintains and updates information, and performs ongoing accounting responsibilities as assigned by Controller.

General Responsibilities

• Oversee all AP activities, including vendor setups and invoices
• Ensure timely and accurate payments
• Manage purchase order processes
• Manages Cash Requirement Forecasts
• Resolution of payment & credit issues
• Oversee credit card accounts and reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
• Oversee the conversion of the AP process to a new ERP system

Qualifications Required

• Bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years AP experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in excel and accounting systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills

Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk is responsible for managing the day-to-day processing of vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment of company liabilities. This role involves maintaining strong communication with vendors and internal departments, handling discrepancies, and adhering to the company’s financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing:
  • Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval.
  • Accurately code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Payment Processing:
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Issue checks for payments and ensure they are distributed or mailed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payments, both manual and electronic.
• Vendor Relations:
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, or inquiries.
  • Monitor and respond to vendor account statements and inquiries.
• Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist in month-end closing by preparing AP reports and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain the general ledger for AP-related transactions.
• Compliance:
  • Ensure all AP transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation as required.
• Record Keeping:
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all AP activities and transactions.
  • Ensure proper documentation is stored for tax and audit purposes.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounts payable or accounting role.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Position Description:

We are looking for a Home Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Home Delivery Driver Work Schedule: 5-day work week (Monday – Friday or Sunday night – Friday morning). You must be able to work either shift.

Home Delivery Driver Salary: $45,000-$55,000

HOME DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pre-inspections of delivery trucks
• Prepare orders from load sheets and hand held computers
• Deliver a variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Complete daily paperwork for deliveries and DOT regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks
• Practice safe driving by following DOT regulations and safety standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, frequently perform heavy pushing / pulling of product and work in refrigerated conditions (33-38 degrees)
• Ability to drive safely in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, physical environment
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations

Machine Operator Reports to: Plant Manager

Position Description:

A machine operator will be manufacturing ready-to-eat dairy products. A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, follow processes, troubleshoot, handle food products and packaging safely, and master the operations of several machines.

Operator Salary: Starting at $22/hour

Machine Operator Hours: 12pm- 8:30pm

Machine Operator Job Functions:

• Adhere to our Good Manufacturing Practices
• Learn to operate filling machine, orientation machine, casing machine, and stacking machine
• Learn, execute, and participate in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the Ice Cream Line
• Comply with our Sanitation Procedures, Food Safety Programs, and Quality Evaluation Programs
• Compliance with documentation requires legible handwriting
• Always maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Assisting in various roles outside the Plastic Line when needed

Education and Experience:

• Reading, writing, and speaking English is required
• High school education or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Five or more years of food manufacturing experience preferred

Computer Skills:

• Experience with using a computer required
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products preferred

Physical Demands:

• Standing, stooping, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling

Description

The Laboratory Technician will be a part of the Quality Department’s team and be responsible for complying, recommending, developing, and implementing unique programs to ensure process and product quality. This individual will assist with daily operations in the laboratory through collaborative relationships with Quality Staff & Leadership to uphold company policies, formulas, specifications, and regulatory requirements as well as ensuring all finished goods meet product quality as well as food safety standards. This position requires an individual to work well independently, be self-disciplined, and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish day to day laboratory tasks; performing antibiotic, and bacteriological tests in addition to measuring the butterfat of raw and pasteurized milk and milk products
• Measure, quantitatively, the quality of products as they are produced; recording weights, volumes, densities, lot numbers, inclusion usage, etc.
• Continue, streamline, and automate our Fluid Milk Shelf-Life program
• Perform plant wide environmental bacteriological swabbing for third party laboratory testing as a part of our Environmental Pathogen Monitoring Program
• Maintain an allergen testing program and database
• Maintain an ATP testing program and database
• Maintain an S4 (Site Specific Sanitation Sheet) program and database
• Review, file, and organize laboratory documents as needed
• Monitor processes and employee compliance to ensure quality is being maintained; proper labels are being used; presentation of final product is as expected; ensuring all good manufacturing practices, food safety trainings, ATP, and allergen awareness are being implemented and executed accordingly
• Assist in keeping the Laboratory clean, organized, and tidy
• Assist Quality Department to make continuous improvement part of the Oberweis culture
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and legislation

A Electro Mechanical Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to become a strong asset of the Factory Maintenance Team providing expertise and leading the way to improvements.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, with weekend/weekday overtime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify defects, execute maintenance plan and troubleshoot equipment.
• Understand Power distribution system (up to 480 volts)
• Control systems – Basic PLC, Motor, sensor, drives and Basic electrical circuits, Basic understanding of device communication networks
• Mechanical system – Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Mechanical Drive systems
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to maintain, optimize and improve processes and performance, with key indicators such as safety, quality, and cost.
• Review maintenance plans and optimize to drive reliability of equipment.
• Reviews and reads engineering drawings (electrical and mechanical)
• Coach operator skills- on operation and troubleshooting existing process and equipment.

Crew Member Position Summary:

Provides customers with outstanding, friendly service in a timely manner, and handles orders accurately and in a timely manner

Work Environment:

• Hands on store setting
• Non-smoking

Experience:

Some experience in a retail or food service environment preferred but not required

• Stand and walk on a hard surface for up to 8 hours per day

• Successful completion of Oberweis orientation and training program

Our Shift Leaders Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Manager and Assistant Manager in supervision of employees in every phase of product preparation and customer service.
• Know all functions of the store and be able to step in and perform any of the job duties
• Perform opening and closing duties based on schedule
• Exceed customer expectations
• Assist Manager and Assistant Manager in handling of monies and back deposits in a safe and responsible manner.
• Physical Requirements: Bend, stoop, and reach to receive inventory, stock, serve customers, and clean store. Carry up to 30 Ibs.
